“Annex 1 is a “Call to Action” in adopting new technology. Airflow Visualisation is mentioned 8 times in the latest Annex 1 vs Zero in the 2008 version. This emphasises the importance of evaluating airflow patterns and movements based the process and people interventions. Future Cleanrooms will be based more and more on “Doing More with Less Air”, based on ISO 14644-4 (Design) and -16 (Energy). Airflow Visualisation will play an increasing role in the testing and Qualification of Cleanrooms for performance and compliance.” Said Conor Murray, founder of 3dimension Cleanrooms.
